Hello!

My mom started off the year with a blog called Stashbusters. She wants to help you not only use up scraps but also larger pieces of stash fabrics and finish UFOs. So the first thing to do is go through your UFOs and list them all out and decide what you want to do with them. I’ll let you check it out on her blog.

I’ve taken the challenge so this past week I went through my UFOs and assessed everything and what I want to do with the projects. So far I’ve found 27 UFOs. Yikes! and there may be more hiding! Will I finish them all this year? I’m not sure. They are in varying stages of being done and there are quite a few that need to be quilted and bound or quilted and a back added for a pillow insert. If I can get those off my list in the next couple months, I’ll be on the right track. My goal is to not start any new quilting projects this year and to see if I can find new life in my UFOs and fabric stash.
