Hello!
I’m in love with zipper pouches right now. I am making them left and right because they’re just so cute. Another reason I’m making is because I took a space at an antique and crafter’s mall. I move my stuff in February 1st and I’m making stock for the space. This is all very new to me but I’m going to try it out and see what happens.
I thought I’d share a few zipper pouches that I’ve made. I like to try different patterns so the first two are the Metro Double Zip Pouch and the last two are Bellevue Pouches in hand dyed fabric. Both patterns from Sew Sweetness.
There’s also been that 10 year aging thing that’s been going around Facebook. I went ahead and did it. The picture on the left is me on our honeymoon is 2009 and it’s one of my favorite pictures. I really loved being on that sailboat. The picture on the right is 2019 and is me holding one of the pouches I’ve made recently. I’m keeping that pouch because I love the house fabric I used.

I also signed up for a 5k in April and start my training this week. Yoga tonight, walk the rest of the week. I’m trying to take baby steps and not push myself too quickly. At 9 weeks postpartum, I feel ready to exercise but I’d been inactive most of my pregnancy so we’ll see how it goes.
I haven’t been doing much quilting but I have a couple charity quilts on the docket and a charity sew day in February I’m hosting so looking forward to going to that and getting some stuff done.
Happy Quilting!
Camille
