Hello!
This year has been full of many starts and stops, especially with the blog. Am I giving up on the blog? No, I’m not. I’m hoping I’ll get back into a groove this fall with the blog and my sewing. As we approach the end of summer, I’m looking forward to fall with cooler days and nights. Currently, we don’t have air conditioning in our house and I get too hot in my sewing area during the summer. It drastically drives down my productivity. I’m a shoulder season person. I love fall and spring.
Things I’m looking forward to this fall:
Wearing socks with sandals (you think I’m joking)
Celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary
Our son’s 2nd birthday
Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate from Starbucks
Apple Picking
Visiting the pumpkin patch
And many more things. One of those things is a virtual quilt retreat in September. Having a virtual retreat is one of those things that has become popular due to us all being at home more. This particular retreat is open internationally so I’ll be meeting people from all over. The idea is to sew while you’re online with all these people. I’m really looking forward to it and the programming they have planned.
Happy sewing and quilting!
Camille
