Hello!

I’m going to share a project I’ll be taking on retreat with me. I cleaned my sewing space last week so I don’t have anything exciting to show for today’s post. I decided I’m going to cut out this Thimbleblossoms Spools 2 quilt to take to quilt retreat. I love everything Thimbleblossoms puts out and the Bonnie & Camille fabrics that go with the patterns. They’re always so bright and happy. This quilt is my project that I really want to work on at retreat. I’ll be working on passage quilts too but I hope to get the bulk of the Spools 2 quilt done. Now I have to find time to cut out this project and a couple more!

Today also happens to be my 38th birthday. Usually I plan a party for my birthday but I decided that I didn’t want a party this year. My husband is taking me to a concert later this week and I’m really looking forward to that.
