Hello!
I’m back this month for the June One Monthly Goal with Elm Street Quilts. There’s been a lot going on in my life right now and although I can’t share everything yet, it’s been all good stuff.
Over Memorial Day Weekend my mom, her friend, and I spent some time at a beach house sewing the days away. I finished the last of my Tula Pink VW Bus pillow tops. I originally started these pillows in a class with Tula Pink at Quilter’s Affair, the week long set of classes before the Sister’s Quilt Show. I think that’s been four years ago now. Time flies. So now they just need to be quilted and made into pillows. My goal is to finish all three pillows this month.
I chose to do one of each color way of Tula Pink’s Salt Water line. This is an older line that I’ve been hoarding and mine look exactly like her originals but I don’t mind because I love how she did it and her fabrics. The pattern is still free on Tula’s website and would look great with some of the new ocean themed fabric she debuted at Spring Quilt Market, which comes out in September.
Happy Quilting!
Camille
