Today I’m linking up with Elm Street Quilts for March’s One Monthly Goal! My goal in March was to finish the above Swoon Sixteen quilt top for a passage quilt and I did it! Woot! Woot!
On Sunday we went to the Oregon Symphony and they played the movie Jurassic Park on the big screen and the orchestra played the soundtrack in time with the movie. It was a lot of fun and Jurassic Park is one of my favorite movies. My grandparents took my sister and I to see it in the theater. I was 10 and she was 8 and I was more scared than she was. I couldn’t watch the part with the raptors and to this day I am still scared of the raptors.
About three years ago we went to a similar event where they played the first of the newer Star Trek movies.

Very pretty – I have never heard before of a Swoon Sixteen quilt but I am guessing its for a birthday gift for someone very special who is turning 16.

Hi Kathryn – The pattern is called Swoon by Camille Roskelly and her company is called Thimble Blossoms. The sixteen refers to the size of the block because it comes in a couple different sizes. I think there’s a mini and a 24″ block. Thanks for your comment!
