Welcome to a new year! I hope you’re all as excited about 2018 as I am!
My first top finished for 2018 is my Circle of Love pillow. I didn’t find the paper piecing to be hard on this project, just a lot of little pieces in the heart itself. The pattern was well done and I barely had to trim anything to square up my quadrants. Now, I have to figure out how to quilt it! I’m completely undecided about that. An all over design in one color thread? Outline each color in a matching thread? I don’t know if I have that many threads.
I have two passage quilts in process and I sew on them in between projects or when I need a break from something tedious. I’m excited to be doing another Disappearing Pinwheel Churn Dash passage quilt. This one will be made from a Blue & White layer cake from Michael Miller. I happened upon a sale in a quilting group on Facebook and bought it, some other layer cakes and one jelly roll at a reduced price. There’s so many things that you can do with pre cuts.
Happy Quilting!
Camille
Your pillow top is beautiful! Best wishes for 2018.
