Hello!

The leaves are starting to fall here in the Pacific Northwest but the temperatures during the day are still warm. I went to a two day conference for work and came home with my brain full of info and ideas. I didn’t feel like sewing yesterday when I got home so I rested for the evening.

This morning I was ready to do some more leaves. I experimented with what happens when I cut shallower and longer curves. I almost lost one of my points but it’s practice and improv. I made it work by taking a little bit deeper seam near the end. Here are the two blocks I made.

I’m pretty happy with how these are turning out and can’t wait to put them all together. I’m not sure how many I’m going to make and what I’m going to make with them but I don’t want them to sit unfinished in a box.
