Hello!
Welcome to April! The weather here is starting to turn more spring like and the trees and flowers are starting to bloom. I love spring in the Mid-Willamette Valley!
For this month’s One Monthly Goal link up with Elm Street Quilts I am going to finish the Winter Trees and Mountains quilt from Quiet Play Designs. This quilt has to be completely finished this month because it’s going to be gifted mid month. Eeek! And I barely got started on it. Thank goodness my longarm quilter is my mom so I’m able to get a quick turnaround with it.
This past Saturday some of the Threads of Remembrance ladies got together for a sew day to work on passage quilts for the hospital. I’m behind on binding quilts but I got two bound. Both of the quilts I bound were made and quilted by my mom and I just finished them off. Here they are.
Both of these quilts are the Quick Strippie pattern. It’s varying widths of 40″ strips and it’s a fast make. We’ve had a request for more Red, White, and Blue or Americana quilts so we’ll be redirecting our efforts to make sure we have enough of those.
Happy Quilting!
Camille
